M&B Industries' heavy duty Inside Lug Nut Remover makes quick work of removing damaged or broken inner cap nuts on Budd-type wheels. It is the perfect solution to tough lug nut problems in the shop and out on the road.
To remove a broken or damaged 1-1/8" inside lug nut (right hand or left hand), simply slide the SP-1 tool over the inside lug nut. Hand tighten the proper drive bolt, tighten the tool with an impact drive and spin off the lug nut (left).
Remove the lug nut from the SP-1 by placing it in a vise, or crescent wrench, etc. and loosening the drive bolt. It's that easy! An optional tool holder (center of bottom photo) is available to ease the nut removal process (below left) and doubles as a storage device (top photo).
The SP-1 tool is machined from alloy steel to exacting specifications. All parts are heat treated to produce a durable, long-lasting tool that will pay for itself many times on service calls. An SP-1 should be in every shop and service truck's tool kit!
